Fall Fusion 2012: Winter Wonderland

It was sunny with a pleasant high temperature in the 60’s, but at Keller Schroeder’s offices on October 7th, nearly 200 guests were offered an early glimpse of a beautiful winter scene. This year’s annual Client Appreciation Event, with its “Winter Wonderland” theme, gave clients, employee-owners, and selected vendor partners the opportunity to connect around some good food, good conversation, and good fun.

In support of our community, Keller Schroeder partnered this year with Aurora, a local agency focused on addressing the needs of the homeless in and around Evansville. Attendees were encouraged to bring clothing and personal items to assist those who are currently homeless, as well as those who have successfully transitioned into newly-found housing. Keller Schroeder provided leadership funding, Keller Schroeder employee-owners provided leadership giving of their own, and attendees were entered into a gift-card drawing as an incentive to bring items with them to the event. In all, hundreds of items worth thousands of dollars were donated.

Key vendor partners who attended this year’s event and provided support and sponsorship included Cisco, LifeSize, K2, Barracuda.

Annual Client Appreciation Event Honors U.S. Veterans

Through its annual Client Appreciation Event held on October 7th, Keller Schroeder honored U.S. veterans with a “Fall Fusion:  American Style” theme.  Local members of the U.S. National Guard were in attendance at the Event, along with more than 200 clients of Keller Schroeder who were treated to lunch, music, free gifts and casual conversation.

Continuing its tradition of giving back to the community through the Client Appreciation Event, Keller Schroeder and its employee-owners donated over 1,000 personal items in support of the “Totes for Hope” initiative sponsored by the American Red Cross.  The totes will be delivered to local veterans who are in need over the coming months.  Client attendees at the Event were also encouraged to bring items for the totes and, in appreciation of their participation, Keller Schroeder entered their names into a $500 Visa gift card drawing.  Several other prizes and giveaways were provided by Keller Schroeder and a select group of vendor sponsors.

Key partners of Keller Schroeder who provided support and sponsorship for this year’s event included Cisco, NetApp, LifeSize, and LogRhythm.

“Across our areas of business we strive for solid, long term business partnerships with our clients,” says Keller Schroeder President Larry May, “and it is gratifying to see the tradition continue.”

Annual Event Focuses on Area Child Care Agencies

It may have looked like the set from a western movie, but the fifth annual Client Appreciation Event on October 1st was actually an opportunity for Keller Schroeder to give back to the community while saying “thank you” to its clients.

This year’s “Wild, Wild West” theme brought out some unique costumes, but the most impressive sight was the more than 600 items donated by Keller Schroeder employee-owners and client attendees for Ark Crisis Child Care Center and St. Vincent’s Day Care.  “These two organizations are highly reputed in Evansville and highly accredited among their peers regionally and nationally,” said company President Larry May.  “Ark and St. Vincent’s fill vital roles in our community, and our Client Appreciation Event is a great opportunity to bring together a lot people to make an impact.”  Keller Schroeder also made a corporate donation of “heavy duty” tricycles for both organizations.

Several of Keller Schroeder’s trusted partners were participants and co-sponsors of the event, including NetApp, Cisco, LifeSize Video, Blue Coat, Infoprint, and Sitco.

Appreciation Event for Clients = Help for Area Food Banks

Keller Schroeder’s annual Client Appreciation Event was once again a dual success – an opportunity to say thank you to our clients, and an opportunity to make a positive impact on our community.  This year’s event (held on October 2nd) sported a Hawaiian theme and included good music, abundant food, and great conversation between Keller Schroeder employee-owners and over 250 client attendees.

Attendees were asked to join Keller Schroeder in bringing food items that could be donated to the Tri-State Food Bank for the event.  In all, over 2000 dry food and produce items were collected and donated by Keller Schroeder employee-owners and clients.  In addition, Keller Schroeder partnered with Marx Barbeque to donate 500 lbs of fresh meat to the Food Bank.

Keller Schroeder’s strong relationships with key vendors were on display, as the event was supported and attended by Cisco, NetApp, LifeSize Video, and IronPort.
