Keller Schroeder is seeking a Renewals Specialist to oversee and manage our third-party renewal processes. This role requires a tenacious contributor who has a strong understanding of end-to-end sales and the importance of inside sales contributions. This individual will display high levels of professionalism, leadership, customer service, attention to detail, communication, and the ability to work independently as well as make positive contributions within larger teams.  This role works closely with our clients, internal Select Account Managers, and Vendor Partner Accounts Representatives to meet goals while delivering exceptional customer service.  Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partner account representatives to help achieve timely renewals
  • Develop subject matter expertise of manufacturer partner renewal processes (such as but not limited to Cisco, HP, Veeam, VMware, Palo Alto, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Create opportunities, quotes, and sales orders within KS systems, and maintain up-to-date information as received from clients, Select Account Managers, technical resources, and others
  • Manage daily quoting activity and open renewal orders to provide timely quotations to clients
  • Meet target of proactively providing quotes at least 60 days in advance of due dates
  • Obtain maintenance renewal costs from vendor partners and distribution partners as needed
  • Identify, monitor, and communicate opportunities for upsells
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Enterprise Agreements, Smart Accounts, Cisco My Entitlements (CME) and all other manufacturer partner tools used in day-to-day activities
  • Continuously pursue partner programs as they are released to determine effectiveness and significance for KS
  • Participate and successfully maintain partner certifications as needed
  • Create and maintain position specific KPIs, while also developing creative approaches to close gaps
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in business related field
  • Must be able to work with financial transactions for the purpose of setting sales prices and achieving gross margin targets
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end sales process and importance of inside sales contributions
  • Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Display high levels of professionalism and leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities with minimal supervision, and effectively manage time to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines
  • Able to turn gaps into opportunities through creative problem solving
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, computer skills, and phone skills
  • Work comfortably with a variety of clients and industries
  • Ability to work within a team and support other team members as needed to deliver results


Skills Preferred:

  • Experience managing OEM/Vendor contracts - Cisco CCW-R preferred
